_ABILITIES: Since Snow is no longer a l'cie at the end of the game, he no longer has magic powers. He does still have his AMP coat, however, which boosts his physical strength and makes him physically stronger than the average person.
_PERSONALITY:
Snow is an interesting guy. He's loud and friendly from the get-go, and is the kind of person who will stand by the people he cares about 'till the bitter end, no matter the consequences. He's someone who keeps his word and never gives up. His easy-going nature tends to get on others nerves (re: hope and lightning), and even though it might seem like he doesn't take things seriously, he does. He just doesn't express it, covering up his regrets and worries with his affable nature and optimistic outlook.
He's a hero, and he makes sure everyone knows it. Seriously, aside from Serah, it's one of the things he talks about all the time. He does his best to act like and do the things that heroes would do, and for the most part he lives up to his title. He's brave, persistent, honest, and stands up for what he thinks is right. When Serah turns into a l'Cie, he stands by her and helps her figure out her focus. When the purge, a mass-killing of innocent people, happens, Snow and his gang jump in and do what they can to help fight. But despite his good intentions, Snow is also reckless and impulsive. He ends up accidentally getting Hope's mom killed, jumps into fights without thinking half the time (“Since when have heroes ever needed plans? ”), and just kind of does his thing, even if it might have negative consequences. He definitely has his heart in the right place, and he stands up for what he believes in, but sometimes his good intentions go horribly wrong.
Not that he lets his mistakes keep him down. Snow is relentlessly optimistic, and being the go-getter he is, he pushes through his regrets and fights to make things better. He believes he can fix things, no matter how impossible the task might seem, and is someone that won't ever give up once he puts his mind to something. These traits, coupled with his easy-going attitude, sometimes makes it seem like he doesn't care about his mistakes, which is untrue. He just deals with it differently than most. The biggest case of this is with Hope. Hope thinks Snow doesn't care about what happened to his mom, and nearly kills him because of it, when in reality Snow deeply regrets what happened to her. He just doesn't know how to deal with those regrets and mistakes head on, so instead he focuses his efforts on what he can do.
That being said, Snow is a man of his word. If he promises something, he will follow through no matter what it takes. Helping Serah, Saving her, getting Hope home safely—he does his best and refuses to give up, no matter how bleak things might look. He's very passionate about what he does and what he thinks is right, is stubborn and hardheaded in the best of ways, and isn't one to give in to self-doubt. Basically, he'll fight to the end and then fight some more.
Snow's most important relationship is Serah. She's the love of his life, and the one he wants to spend his life with. His drive to protect her is his motivation through the games, and what most affects his mental state and goals. He loves her with all his heart, and has no doubts that they're meant for each other. When Serah turns l'cie Snow helps her figure out her focus, and when she turns to crystal Snow doesn't give up on her. He's driven to find a way to get her back, and is certain that he will find a way to turn her back to normal. She's the love of his life and he would do anything for or to protect her.
All in all, Snow is a passionate guy. He's easy to get along with, friendly with everyone he meets (so long as they aren't out to hurt the people that are important to him), and is a very driven individual who does his best to be a hero. Oh, and he's also a huge sap. Don't mind the cheesy, romcom-level lines he'll end up spewing about Serah. He's a sweet guy! Just a little obnoxious about it, sometimes.

Hey, it's been a while since I showed up. A couple months, I think. Guess we're really all stuck here, huh? Not that I'm giving up on finding a way off this rock. There's people back home, y'know? I've gotta take care of them, help them out. [ Hope, the people from Cocoon, Serah. Things had finally been looking up for them, had finally been resolved. And now he's here. It's not fair, man. ] It's what a hero does.
[ He sighs. ]
I guess what I'm wondering is; has anyone been looking in to a way back home? And if not--does the name Serah ring any bells? I've gotta know if she's here.
_SMUT SAMPLE:
He's hard and it leaves him feeling ashamed, because all he can think about is Serah. How is he going to face her after this? He thinks as he leans down and kisses his partner softly. He studies her carefully as he brushes the hair out of her face, tucking it behind her ear. She looks kind of like Serah. Her hair is the same strawberry color, if a little short, and she's the same height. It makes him feel worse.
It's not like he's straying because he misses her. It's not that he needs the sex, either. But he's noticed in his time here that this kind of thing? It talks, it gets you things, and he needs information. He needs an in. Everyone wants something, and this is the price he has to pay to get the information he's been looking for for months.
Not that reasoning with himself makes him feel any less like a cheating bastard.
He pushes the woman back on the bed and once given permission pushes into her. His breathing is heavy and he closes his eyes, thinking of Serah. He pictures her as he remembers her, the image of their reunion burned into his mind, and he pretends for a moment that it's Serah writhing beneath him instead of some stranger with connections.
His touch and the rhythm of his movement is slow and careful at first, but quickens the more time passes. He moans softly, but the only thing he feels as he climaxes is regret.
